The Project
Accent Group Ltd are a community investment business based in the UK, specialising in housing, health, education and regeneration projects.
In mid to late 2010, Accent Group Ltd enlisted our services to carry out the electrical and mechanical specification for the refurbishment of one of their offices in Bradford. As part of this refurbishment, we updated the lighting system with an efficient, environmentally responsive scheme which is saving approximately £5000 a year on their lighting costs.
Right- The office spaces have been transformed by the sleek, modern design of the low energy fittings we installed.
Low Energy Fittings
We replaced x103 4*36W T8 modular fittings with a sleek, modern 2*35W T5 fitting. The new, low energy fittings are coupled with motion detectors allowing banks of fittings to be off when areas are unoccupied. The new fittings consume an average of 38W when the savings from the motion detectors are taken into account compared to 176W per fitting from the outdated, inefficient fittings.
The staff at Jeremy Downs House now benefit from an interactive low energy lighting system that not only offers a brighter working environment, but one that also clearly demonstrates their Corporate Social Responsibility to all thier customers.

Left- The meeting room is controlled by motion sensors. The fittings give a contemporary feel to the shared spaces. The fittings are high frequency meaning there is no delay in switching on when triggered by movement.
