What do surveys involve?
Our surveys are free to your business. All we require from you is some of your time and an up to date electricity bill. Inreturn you will receive a comprehensive low energy lighting report to clearly show where savings can be made in your business.

How long do the surveys take?
The surveys can range from 20 minutes to an hour. The length of time depends upon the complexity and size of your building.

Once we have surveyed your site, we take away your readings and compile a low energy report for you. This is also free of charge. The report includes details of what you are spending in terms of cash on your current lighting system, and how much this equates to in terms of your carbon footprint. We then suggest a new lighting scheme for you taking into account all external factors surrounding your business, and give you information on available funding/ and or support on implementing changes. We aim to get the report back to you within one week, but as we take each case individually, we are constantly negotiating the best prices for you from our suppliers, and so occasionally we can get delayed in getting it back to you.

The unique element of our Carbon Catcher service is that we are able to carry out every step of your energy reduction project. Not only will we complete a FREE on-site survey and source the best products for your business, we will also carry out all the installation work under our electrical contracting company RCE Services UK Ltd.
We are registered with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting and all our work is certificated accordingly. All our engineers are fully qualified in their relevant fields and all work carried out is to BS 7671.
We work to the highest standards and act with a high level of professionalism. All works carried out are agreed with yourselves prior to commencement and under a timescale agreed by both parties.

We like to prove we can save you what we said we would in our report! To give you peace of mind, we are happy to install energy monitors before and after a project to show you the actual savings you have made.
